These sonobe origami creole earrings combine a triple sonobe with a creole, a hoop earring. The sonobe is folded by hand from authentic Japanese Chiyogami paper.

Sonobe is a modular origami technique: several units are folded one by one and then slotted together into a geometric shape. Chiyogami is decorative Japanese paper with patterns inspired by kimono textiles. The finished piece is sealed with a protective coating.
