Collection: Hooded Kimono Ponchos

Hooded ponchos cut from vintage Japanese silk kimono. Most are made from tomesode, the formal kimono with a hand-painted or embroidered scene along the hem; others come from komon with a small repeating pattern, or from hōmongi, iromuji and irotomesode. Each product page names the kimono type of that exact piece, and no two ponchos share the same colours or motifs.

Every poncho has an oversized hood with drawstrings, a half-zip front and adjustable strings at both sides. The cut is unisex and comes in two lengths, size 1 and size 2; a size chart is on every product page. Lightweight enough to layer all year.

Made from the same vintage kimono: high collar jackets, kimono hoodies and kimono blazers. See all upcycled kimono pieces.
