Crane & Sonobe Origami Hairstick

This origami hairstick combines a crane and a sonobe, both folded by hand from authentic Japanese Chiyogami paper. You choose the colour of each one separately.

In Japan the crane, or tsuru, is a symbol of luck and a long life. Sonobe is a modular origami technique: several units are folded one by one and then slotted together into a geometric shape. Both pieces are sealed with a protective coating.
