Collection: Komon Kimono Pieces

Hooded ponchos and high collar jackets cut from vintage komon kimono. Komon means "small pattern": the everyday kimono, covered all over with a repeating motif, from tiny dots and flowers to geometric shapes. Because the pattern repeats across the whole fabric, a komon piece looks evenly patterned from every side, easy to combine and made for every day. Each piece comes from one single kimono and exists only once.
